A new beginning.

So, I haven't written in a while because I've been pretty busy lately. I thought I might as well update you on my life.

I will be Mrs. Ryan Williams in 5 months and 5 days. Yes, that is crazy. I will be gaining so much. I will be gaining a wonderful husband, an awesome mother-in-law, father-in-law, and brother-in-law.  His whole family is pretty much amazing, but what do you expect? I mean look how great he is? :)

Another thing I will be gaining are a lot of cousins who we just spent Memorial Day weekend with. (So much fun!) The funny thing is, I have known his uncle, aunt & cousins (aka the Doughty's) for a long time....I'd say about 12 years. BUT I never heard of their amazing cousin who would end up being my future husband. Anyway, this family is great, and the main reason that they are so great is because they put JESUS first in their lives and they are always serving Him in everything they do. Out of this whole time I knew them, I really got to know them last weekend more than ever. I finally feel as if I'm apart of the family now and we have that family bond which I love so much. Ryan and I are so blessed to have 2 great families in 2 different states.

So, wedding planning.

Now I just need to pick out the groomsmen attire, flowers (appointment wednesday), groomsmen gifts, and the LIST--oh that horrible list that I have to narrow down to 200 is going to kill me.....

So, I basically am covered with the whole wedding planning. I like having it done early since I will have a full load of classes next semester and I will be getting married near finals! SHEW!! But that is okay because I love the date (11.11.11)

I never thought that I would be getting married at 19. No way. 3 years ago I never thought I would be where I'm at now. God is truly amazing and has blessed me so much. I could have not done any of this on my own. I had to make some big choices in my life. I had to give up close friends in order to keep God number one. Believe me, God will always bless you for putting Him number one....and that is where He should be. Giving up myself was a hard thing to do. I gave up everything and everyone that was making me not bear fruit. You would think I would feel alone...well I didn't because I found out who I really was and that God is all that I needed. When I did that very thing, God poured out His blessings, and let me tell ya, they overflowed!!!!! I just can not express how truly grateful I am for all God has done in my life. If I did not give up myself to follow Him I would not be getting married to the most amazing, Godly, man of my dreams at 19. Yeah, people think that's crazy...not me. People think.."Oh you need to finish college and then get married"..guess what? I'm getting married while in college and I have SO much faith that God will bless us. We are getting married to be a team living for our Almighty God. We hope that we can be a light to those around us in this dark and dying world.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

"Many plans are in a man's heart, But the counsel of the LORD will stand." Proverbs 19:21

I can not say it enough. "Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory." Colossians 3:1-4
