This school year I am: getting married at the end of my fall semester, moving out of the home I have grown up in for 19 years, gaining another whole wonderful family in Virginia, having my first thanksgiving and christmas being married, taking 5 classes in the spring semester while trying to be a good homemaking wife:) , graduating with my associates degree in office administration, and starting my career, Lord willing, after I graduate.
God has laid out this beautiful life ahead of me and I am going to embrace it with a smile through the good and the bad. Tons of people say..."Oh, you are getting married, oh boy, you are in for something there" and Yes, I know married life is not a piece of cake, and I know things will not go exactly how I imagined, but I do know that Ryan and I have God as our head and we have Him as our leader. When God is for you, who can be against you? I am ready for this new lifelong adventure.
Dear my Father in Heaven, thank you for blessing me with so many wonderful people who support me. I would not be the person I am today without You. Please help me to be the person you want me to be through this new journey that is ahead of me. Help me to have a good attitude and be thankful no matter what the circumstance. Help me to be a light to other people and show them Your love. Thank you for a wonderful fiance, family, and friends. I love you so much. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
